I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin in Mar 2022
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds, where I got to meet future team members and could always ask questions if I had any. Everyone was very nice and patient.
I always knew what the next step is going to be and how it will look like. The coding interview was an interesting insight of what my future tasks would look like, I also got an opportunity to reflect on the coding interview and also got useful feedback.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bitmovin (Vienna) in Mar 2023
Interview
I had two online interviews.
The first one was behavioral: I talked about my background, my projects, and the reasons I applied.
The interview is very relaxing and no stressful at all.
The second one was technical: I was given a few hours to implement a small library.
I had some difficulties in this last interview, but the interviewers were really understanding.
I think they appreciated the way I explained my thought process and the way I critically examined my solution, admitting its flaws and how it could have been better implemented. So I was given a second chance to finish the library.
