I was approached by one of their HR reps for a position at their Denver's division (former OpenScan).
The second contact came in form of a phone interview with their CTO all the way from NJ. Now that guy was either having the worst hangover, was completely bored, or was scheming a completely different plan about this role, but all I did was a 15 min monologue and managed to squeeze in a few questions at the end.
The rest was humiliating. I got two consecutive templated automated messages in my inbox, from billtrust+email+4ng.sej, one of them explaining that the reason they don't want to pursue the matter further is because the position was closed, and the second one, exactly the same as the first one, but with a different reason, in which they were pursuing other candidates. No other feedback given.
Now I have 15 years of experience working in this field, with 4 maybe more recruiting for technical positions. In all these years, I never treated anyone in such a humiliating fashion or was treated with more disrespect.
