I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Biffa (Aylesbury, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
All Done through recruitment agency.
I was contacted and booked, it was an assessment day in a budget hotel, 80% of people attended had no experiences in similar roles. Huge age gape between candidate Starting from youth of 19 to 58 years old.
recruiters included floor managers, recruitment managers, senior, head managers and training team and some others.
Apparently During the assessment stages, i have appeared to be very confident and this comes across as being arrogant in comparison with the rest !! (Not my fault if I've had years and years of experience and VS no experience at all).
I never heard about Biffa before But frankly i Regret wasting my time going there.
their feedback to the agency was rather irrelevant and not constructive nor truthful.
The recruitment agency who told me at first im overrated for this position and i can do it with eyes closed, comeback to say I’ve scored lower than the others who had no experience at all? how come? Here you go, Too good is No good for Biffa. I personally felt disrespected, degraded just for being good. But very happy as the last thing im looking for is working in a toxic environment like Biffa’s
