For lateral entry recruitment of engineers, there are 3 phases.
1. Written test : Comprises if mainly quantitative aptitude, verbal and non verbal ability.
2. Round 1: Technical interview- Generally they ask the questions from the resume.
3. Round 2: HR- Behavioural types of questions are asked.
