      Raleigh, NC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bevello (Raleigh, NC)

      Interview

I was called and asked if I could come in for an in-person interview. The manager interviewed me in the stock room/office space, and we talked through my previous experience. She asked me about my career goals, and how I would handle certain difficult customer situations. She also asked me what techniques I felt were effective for selling and up-selling to customers. For instance, she had a mannequin in the back with a trendy outfit on and asked me to pitch the different items to her.

      Sales Associate Interview

      22 Jan 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Houston, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bevello (Houston, TX)

      Interview

I sent in my resume to a local boutique online to be considered for a position. About one week later I got an email for an interview at the store. The interview was pretty basic with the store manager and I had 3 years of experience working in another small boutique so I knew all the answers and styling questions. She then set me up for a phone interview with the district manager. The district manager ended up emailing me and said she ended up being able to make it to my city and wanted to interview me in person, which of course I accepted. I had a very long interview and the district manager seemed pleased with all of my answers. She gave me a ton of positives and appreciated my experience and said I was exactly who they were looking for. She explained she would let the store manager know and to look out for a call. I never heard anything again and didn't even attempt to contact the store since they were that unprofessional to not contact me, that is not the type of company I want to work for.
