I had a very engaging conversation with both the recruiter and hiring manager. The recruiter was very thorough and kept me up to date. After my interview with the hiring manager I followed up with both the recruiter and hiring manager. It’s been about four weeks and to date have not heard back on the status. As an HR professional I understand sometimes you may not be a fit. However, I think it’s imperative to close the loop to ensure the candidate experience is pleasant. I am disappointed not that I didn’t get the role but more so the lack of communication. I would just encourage the people team to firm up their candidate closing process. Either way it goes it’s great for overall business.
