      Mechanical Engineering Intern Interview

      8 Mar 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Bell in Apr 2020

      Interview

The interview process was very laid back and more of a get to know you feel. I talked with an HR employee who walked me through a typical day and she was able to put me in contact with engineers I would be working with. The interview was very thorough and pushed me to dig deep and give well thought out answers. They threw curveballs at me that I was not expecting, but gave me enough time to thoroughly answer the questions. The interview was followed up with any questions I had, where I feel like I could have asked the interviewer more than she asked me, but she had an answer for all of my questions or was able to point me in the correct direction.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself, but more about what you do in your personal time. Can you name a time where you made a bad decision and had to come back and reevaluate your thought process? What is the toughest job you have had to di in previous internships? Can you tell me about your favorite project you worked on and the value you brought to the table? Tell me about the largest project you were a part of and how it pushed you to step out of your comfort zone.
