MUST READ BEFORE INTERVIEWING Applied through Indeed and received a call for interview. Interviewed for a marketing executive position. The interview process was absolutely long. The Be Unique Group interview process is similar to that of ARENA Capital and Consultancy as well as AIX investments as its under the same family business. Round 1 was a group interview on the floor below their office, three questions were asked: 1. Introduce yourself in 15 sec. 2. What in your perspective makes somebody a superstar? 3. Ask a question to a fellow interviewee. And then the "Director" asked to write down the name of whom you think should be selected on a piece of paper and told the interviewees to wait for an hour saying that he would revert. After an hour and half, I get a call saying that I am rejected so naturally, I thank him for the opportunity. Instead of hanging up, he says that it was part of the "TEST" and expects me to rebel and explain why I am a good fit. Anyway, after a discussion, I was invited for Round 2 at their office the following week without any information on what the 2nd round would be about. I reached at 12 noon (half an hour early) to find the office locked and nobody picked my call. By 12:30 PM I was able to get in and had to give a pen and paper test. There were 4 tasks to be completed in an hour: Task 1: Grammar, spelling & punctuation correction of an article. Task 2: Write a 200 word paragraph on why you think you are a superstar. Task 3: Write a poem on any topic. Task 4: Tabulate a given piece of information appropriately. * I still don't understand how these are relevant criteria for the role.* I completed the task in 45 mins and was told that I will get the feedback. After a week I get a mail saying that the results were impressive and asking for another round 3 of Interview. In the meantime, while I checked on Indeed I saw that the job listing status changed from "Employer reached out" to "Not selected by employer". I assumed it to be a technical glitch since they invited me to the next round. I went for Round 3 of the interview only to be told that the Interview cannot be conducted and that they already interviewed somebody else. I travelled 4 hours per day for 3 days to get to their office and did not even get interviewed for Round 3. Their whole idea revolves around being a superstar and the founder himself gives speeches on gladiators without implementing even 1% in their work ethics. SO, to sum up, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They give so much emphasis on the idea of "SUPERSTAR" when they themselves aren't one.
