Interviewed in 2003 in the early afternoon. I began with a group of 8 staff and faculty for a standard interview with scripted questions. Interviewers were friendly and professional and asked intelligent follow-up questions to my responses. After an hour or so, I received a campus tour starting with a long visit with my future staff. They, too, were friendly and seemed excited to meet the candidates. The tour ended with at the President's office, with whom I met for an hour or so. At the meeting's end, he invited me to dinner at a local fine restaurant with several trustees. They couldn't have been more pleasant and enjoyed the day thoroughly. There was a positive and enthusiastic tenor to the whole day.
