Bastion Holding interview questions

An assistant manager took me through the application process. Proceeded to tell me I got the job and the contract should be ready on Monday. If the contract wasn't ready he would call me over the weekend. If he didn't call he said to be there at 9am. He gave me a walk through of all the different types of rooms they clean and through their kitchen and showed me all their storages. They mentioned other job opportunities within the company as well. He made me feel like we were 100% going to be working together and I would be signing a contract in a few days. No call over the weekend and I was excited. That meant to come into work Monday morning and be there at 9am. At 7:20am he sent me a text message saying sorry there are no rooms to clean. I sent a reply text asking about if my contract was ready and if we could discuss the other jobs he was hiring for. He never replied. Huge thumbs down. Feel like I dodged a bullet.
