I was offered a position directly from HR as a result of working for them on a contract assignment. The attorney and legal assistant I worked with were impressed with my work ethic, my attention to detail, my computer knowledge, and how I fit in with the firm.

I wouldn't say there was a difficult or unexpected question. We had a straightforward discussion in which the HR rep expressed the desire to hire me based on how I had performed in the contract assignment. We discussed salary requirements and when I could start.
