I applied online. I interviewed at Barnes Aerospace (Ogden, UT) in Oct 2024
Interview
What a trashy organization... I arrived on time for a scheduled interview to the most inhumane reception area I have ever seen; a tablet in a tiny, dirty room with no one in site. After completing the steps on the tablet, a message appeared that the person I was meant to meet with had been notified of my arrival, then a visitor badge popped out. I sat for over 15 min, no one came to meet me. I tried calling the number provided by the HR rep I was communicating with; no answer. I messaged on the app through which we had been communicating; no reply until over half an hour after I had arrived; by that time I had already been gone for 15 min. The lack of respect and basic human decency demonstrated by this organization is appalling and speaks volumes about the culture here. If this is how they treat prospective employees, I don't even want to think about how they treat their actual employees.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Barnes Aerospace (Ogden, UT) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was very simple and easy to digest. The interviewer was very professional but also very knowledgeable in the field of aerospace as well! I was very impressed with the way they handled the interview without making it seem nerve wracking
