I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY) in Aug 2014
Interview
The process was several rounds. It started with a phone interview, and was followed by an in-person interview with the senior analyst and then individual interviews with other associates on the team. The interview was half "fit" questions and half about companies I researched at a previous job. The interview was very conversational rather than just having questions fired at you from a list.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY) in Jan 2024
Interview
Had a 30-minute technical interview with a VP. The questions were pretty difficult compared to other interviews I've done before. Definitely recommend other people to study up before doing the interview.

Question 1
What are three forms of intercompany transactions and how are they different?
Straight Forward, recruiter, then several rounds of interviews with people on team. Took too long, lots of steps. Everyone was nice and professional. Gave an exercise to do as well.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY) in Nov 2019
Interview
The final round interview consisted of three separate video chats. Everything happened very quickly with little time to prepare. I was not entirely sure what Equity Research team I was interviewing for which only further confused the matter.
