I applied online. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Greenville, NC) in Aug 2017
Interview
1. Phone interview, informing you of the position and asking you what you expect in the position and pay.
2. In person interview with coordinator and other practice manager. Mostly consisted of behavioral questions. With a tour of the facility.
3. Set up a full or half of a day of shadowing the job site. The shadowing was very informational, but very unorganized, while slightly unprofessional.
4. Follow up phone call to see if I still wanted the position. With setting up a background check, informing of expecting pay, and next steps.
5. Another in person interview with the Chief of staff and another practice manager. This was informal to see if the Chief of Staff connected and to ask any other lingering questions they have.
6. Phone interview with the district VP. This phone interview was informed of being relaxed but ended up being extremely important and formal. This was the deciding factor for the position. If this does not go 100% you will not receive the position.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Tell us a time in which you were working with a group and there was a leadership issue?
Very drawn out interview process with little respect for the candidate’s time. Several broken promises in terms of timeframe as well as offer details. I wasn’t expecting much, but I still came out disappointed
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2023
Interview
Was reached out by field leader to set 30 minutes interview without me applying for the position. Did that one then a week later had a second interview with same person and a peer of hers. After that interview I was told that I would be notified of the results the next day whether selected or not. Mind you again, I didn’t applied so I had no official communication from them. I tried to call and text and email but the leader never responded. I took that as a negative thing. Even if I was offered a position I wouldn’t had taken it given the fact that the leader is hard to reach. Both interviews were in the span of a week. The position was filled a month after initial contact.
