Human resources seems to be centralized in a Colorado office and initial communication was with an HR representative out there, who was very professional. I then had a technical phone screen. The questions were common software engineering, software language, and design questions.
Next was an in-person interview with a group, some of whom were virtual. We talk very specifically about the technologies being used, my experience with those technologies, and the system Ball Aerospace was contracted to build.
After the group interview, the program lead asked me to stay for a one-on-one conversation where I was asked questions related to my work-life balance. I left with concerns about how appropriate some of those questions were. I am a woman and wore a wedding ring to the interview.
I didn't get a follow-up response after the interview, not even a polite no.
