I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Baker Technology (Bedok New Town, ) in Feb 2023
Interview
it was a solid interview. very chill and good experience. enjoyed the experiences. even though some question were tough I believe with good preparation the questions can be answered well.
A recruiter contacted me about this company, and I agreed to meet them for an interview. I was led to understand this position was for a Java software engineer.
I met two senior directors at the company, and they asked me a number of questions about Javascript and Swagger. At one point I was accused of cheating, when thinking about answer to a question, while staring at my notebook (which was for taking notes, and open on a blank page). I’ve subsequently completed Javascript, typescript and react projects however if they insisted on a specific skill, they could have at least read my cv.
They had evidently set up a number of candidates and were going through them one by one in short 10 minute interviews, a process I’ve never seen or heard another company doing for senior engineers.
Absolutely no time was spent selling the company to me nor was I given time for questions, with the interview ending awkwardly after 10 minutes. In hindsight I should have walked out after the cheating comment.
The directors may think they’re efficient, but they’re just rude. My impression of the company is very negative

Something about using Swagger to generate test code
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Baker Technology
Interview
Imagine yourself in a small room with two former Eastern block army doctors, who are about to perform a psychological examination on you for a condition of which you have no knowledge. No formal introduction, no time allocated to candidate to present him or herself, wordless conferral between interviewers, and unceremonious welcome and send off. In the end I still had no idea about the job which I thought I was interviewing for.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No information about what they required, how they work or the project in general. Interview totally unrelated to job description sent out by internal recruiter. Random and pedantic questions related to the names of specific implementation methodologies which any proficient developer could research and understand and utilise without knowing the buzz words.
