I applied for the role during October 2019 and did the digital interview 2 months later around January 2020. After that, I waited for a long time but there was no way to check my status because the website was always down where I checked on it daily for around the duration of 2 months. I had no choice so I tried to look for connections on LinkedIn and fortunately, I was able to get in touch with an HR personnel. She told me that they would get back to me by the end of April 2020, which was their final selection day. I understand that the Covid-19 pandemic caused a very huge impact on the O&G sector, but I was hoping to at least get a heads-up. But no, I had to ask them around the end of May only to find out that they have froze hiring. Lastly, I understand that every company is facing difficulties nowadays but please remember, every candidate has feelings and we deserve to be respected.
