First round was an online test, followed couple of rounds of interview, Technical and Culture Fit.
Online Test - Was above average difficulty
Interview - Was interactive, the interviewer was asking questions friendly and listened carefully to the answers, it went like technical discussion. Mostly questions about previous project architecture, followed by technical questions for the role (like java related, spring related, DB related) and some questions about CI/CD, kubernetes etc.

Question 1
Can you explain about current project architecture and what are your roles and responsibilities in that?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase (Kraków) in Mar 2023
Interview
First there was a call with an HR person. Next step was the interview with a manager. It was a short one, but very professional and to the point. The main focus was on how I would potentially fit the team and what are the specifics of the company and the Polish office. Finally there was a technical interview. First questions were more soft-skills ones, then a technical part that was mostly reviewing or completing existing code with additional questions. The interviewer was very friendly with a helpful approach.
