I applied online. I interviewed at BRE Group (Watford, East of England, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
I had a very positive interview experience with BRE. I was offered a good range of interview time slots, which made the process feel flexible and well organised. The interview took place via Teams, and the information provided beforehand was thorough, clear, and easy to understand, which allowed me to prepare properly.
The interview itself involved giving a presentation followed by competency-based questions for the role. The panel consisted of two interviewers, who asked thoughtful questions about my presentation before moving on to the wider interview. Although the process was thorough, the questions were delivered in a conversational and professional way, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere and made it easier to engage fully.
Overall, I felt the interview was well structured, fair, and gave me a good opportunity to demonstrate my experience and suitability for the role.

I applied online. I interviewed at BRE Group in May 2026
Interview
The interview process comprised of two stages, the first one with AI (Ryan) and the second with the line manager for the role and another manager.
The process was clear and straightforward. Prior to the first interview I was dubious about talking to AI as part of an interview stage, but I then realised it was a beneficial additional step. AI summarized each of my answers with a positive comment on how it met the post criteria, which I found encouraging and helpful in putting what I was saying into perspective.
The virtual interview with the two managers was well managed and they were both friendly, professional and engaged. The questions were relevant and designed to understand my prior experience and the skills relevant to the role, while recognising that I haven't covered that role specifically before.
I enjoyed both processes.
