I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BNY (Hong Kong) in Nov 2018
Interview
In person interview: casual conversation about my job experiences and personal development goals. Two interviewers, The senior manager (who played a nice interviewer) asked conventional interview questions for me to answer, which I answered comfortably. The other manager (who played a bad guy) always challenged me to explain everything on my resume, for which I sweated a lot (Also it's because Hong Kong is hot). As the department turnover rate was high, they didn't require so much of me during the interview.
Phone interview: Still a causal chat with a HR manager. No challenging question. As the senior manager liked me during the interview and the turnover rate was high, the phone interview I think was a mere formality.
