I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BMO US in Sept 2014
Interview
The questions were very straight forward. They laid out what the job responsibilities would be, and tested me to see if I was able to complete them. They asked me to role play and sell a product to them. They asked me standard questions most companies would ask: they asked me to tell them about myself, what I was passionate about, and if I had anything that would hold me back from working.

Question 1
Most difficult question would probably be the most obvious one most employers ask. They asked me what was my greatest weakness, and to show them a time I had a very difficult problem and what steps I took to solve it.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BMO US (Wausau, WI) in Aug 2016
Interview
The interview through BMO Harris Bank was very easy and complicated. The recruiters did a good job reaching out to me for a phone screen. The in person interview was very easy going. It's recommended to be prepared still for the interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BMO US (Scottsdale, AZ) in Aug 2016
Interview
Got to the bank itself and waited about 10 minutes before proceeding to the bank manager's office for the interview. The other staff was very friendly and offered water or coffee and let me know when I will be seen. The interview had in depth questions, focused on overall career goals, asked about strength and weaknesses.

Interview
I applied online, and a couple weeks later a recruiter emailed me to set up a phone interview, which took about 20 minutes. It was more of a screening process; he asked me about my work experience, whether I have experience with sales goals, what my availability is like, etc. The day after the phone interview I was contacted by the manager of the branch I applied with for an in-person interview. The in-person interview took about an hour, and it was very casual. He asked me a lot of questions about customer service, sales, previous experiences, etc. It was a lot of "tell me about a time when..." and not so much "what are your biggest strengths and weaknesses". If you have experience in a sales environment or even just working a lot with customers, you'll be fine. He also explained the position really in-depth with me and told me about the current staff, company culture, etc. Like I said, it was really casual and seemed more like a discussion to see if I was the best fit for the job and if the job was the best fit for me rather than just him drilling me with questions. I felt really at ease with both of the interviews.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you were not able to meet the customer's needs, and if you could go back would you do anything differently?
