      Field Service Engineer Interview

      10 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Buffalo, NY
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BC Technical (Buffalo, NY) in Dec 2013

      Interview

5 phone interviews, First a recruiter called and screened me, Then called a second time to clarify, A manager from the company called me and interviewed me. The recruiter past on all my info like resume and references. Then two more mangers interviewed me and then made an offer sight unseen based on my phone calls and credentials pending a drug test, which I passed.

      Field Service Engineer Interview

      8 Jan 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at BC Technical

      Interview

Hiring process was quick. They approached me. Flew me to Salt Lake City for an interview and offered me the job while I was there. The company has tripled in size since then. I'm not sure how much different it is now. This is not the type of Job for beginning engineers, there just isn't a robust enough technical support network to hold someone's hand as they come up to speed. You've got to be able to hit the ground running.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None. They knew me by reputation. It was really me interviewing BC Technical to see if I wanted to join them.
