Competence based structured interview with 2 stages, with hiring manager and a member off the HR Team. Questions based on the job description and competence framework, with the answers marked on a scale of 1 to 5 and the overall score used to quantitively compare candidates.

Interview
Process took a long time, several weeks from first notification, though only one 1 hour competancy based interview with 3 people, and a decision was made. The complication was agreement of my departure date from one department to move to the new role - in the BBC this can be excessively time consuming.
