1. Briefly describe what did you do during your thesis work and internship
2. Name 3 optoelectric materials
3. Describe the mechanism of solar cell (how photon energy is transformed into electricity)
4. What is the company product and explain its purpose
5. What materials are used in their IR sensor
6. Describe the mechanism of PCD, CVD, lithography and etching process
For the 2-month internship program, a user interview is conducted covering basic questions about the company profile, processes at BASF, process engineering, strengths and weaknesses, as well as potential and experience possessed.
The interview process was phone screen, second interview then a final onsite interview with a team of panelists. The overall interview process was average. They take care of travels and other arrangements if you do not live in the state.

Interview
1. Twenty minute phone screening from HR 2. Virtual panel interview with 3 employees from BASF. Lasted 45 minutes with typical STAR questions. 3. On-site visit with 3, 30-min one-on-one interviews and a site tour. Total time on-site was 2 hours.
