I interviewed at BAM Architecture Studio (New York, NY)
Interview
I had emailed a resume and portfolio of professional and personal work, and received an email of interest from them about a week later. The entire process started with a phone interview to gauge my interests, and to see whether my design philosophies aligned with theirs. Then I was scheduled for an in-person interview with 3 staff members, individually. It was very long, lasted almost 2 hours. But it was very informative, and they seemed to be assessing personality a little more than skills. Third round, was another interview with another staff member, was very brief. Needless to say I was very disappointed that I never heard anything back (I called for a follow up to see where I stood shortly before being granted the final interview), and assumed they went with someone else.

Question 1
What kinds of projects have you worked on in terms of scale?
It is unfortunate you didn't get the job and I can understand your frustration . Did you leave a voicemail when you called? The Principals routinely return phone calls so it is surprising to learn that a voice mail may have gone unanswered.
