It was straightforward 3 stages. The interviewers where nice and professional easy to talk to and very helpful during the interview process. I was provided with all the requirements to prepare.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at BAE Systems (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2019
Interview
I was originally contacted by a recruiter from BAE for an Account Manager role in mid August of 2019. Had initial call with the recruiter who then set up a call with the Hiring Manager. Had a call with him then met him for an in person interview (end of Sept 2019).
All seemed to go quite well and the hiring manager said he would like to set me up with a final interview with team members and then a final interview with the VP of Sales.
I was told the final meeting would be set up no later than the end of November. That meeting kept getting pushed out and 5 months later I was finally told (end of February 2020) that BAE would not be able to move forward with opening a position.
The hiring manager was incredibly unprofessional in his response times. Waiting days or weeks for a response.
If this is how BAE treats potential candidates then actually working for them would be a nightmare. Just be warned.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions from both the recruiter and the hiring manager were fairly common questions. What types of accounts have you covered in your career? (ie smb, mid-market, enterprise). What success have you had in working with large enterprise accounts?
