I applied online. I interviewed at Axos Bank (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
Interview was a little awkward for me. IQ testing and much focus on wanting prior people management experience even though my resume didn’t misrepresent that.
The deal breaker for me was COVID response. They are fully in person when schools and childcare haven’t resumed. I think that is weeding out women with children during this time.

Question 1
Why did you leave the company you worked at before this company?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Axos Bank (San Diego, CA) in Sept 2020
Interview
The process was quick because no one wants to work here.. lol.. If you read all the other reviews from current employees, it is horrible. I've actually never had an HR interview like this. She kept talking for 45 minutes straight and I barely said anything. She seemed disorganized and she asked me a few HR questions. On some questions, it was sort of unfair and personal but she wouldn't back down even after I gave her an answer. That was my first impression. She told me the hiring manager was the nicest guy and he was really a mentor and everything. Nothing could be further from the truth. Within 30 seconds during the 2nd interview, I knew I was going to be rejected. The guy seemed a bit rude and he was not nice at all. He sort of cut me off at times and I got the feeling he just didn't like me based on my resume. I got a rejection letter the next week. Remember this place is forcing people to work onsite through covid per other reviews. So I am sort of glad I didn't move onto the next round.
