I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Avidbank in Jun 2025
Interview
2 on the phone informational interviews. 1 final round
Somewhat casual for the phone interviews, mostly fit questions. expect technicals/questions about basic financial accounting to be thrown in.
For the final round, its an inperson interview/online if not close to their HQ. 3 rounds where you'll first meet with the analysts, followed by a more technical round where you'll meet with the PM's, last round is meeting with the executive VP (pretty much conversational)

Question 1
Why Avidbank?
How does cash flow through the 3 statements?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Avidbank (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
Interviewed with several members of the team and spent about 6 hours discussing the role. All indications were positive and team was very impressive! Once management was involved, the firm could not honor their live job posting and offered 25% below the minimum salary they advertised online. Job posting was still up and they were accepting applicants. I would not have gone through those calls had I known the firm would go way below the range shown online. No offer was extended after I said I would still consider the offer.

Question 1
No technical questions given the strong resume and familiarity in the space. Conversations were mainly around logistics and where I’d sit.
