Received a call from a recruiter acting on behalf of Avalon Shutters. Late for scheduled call, not prepared, did not seem to have an understanding for the company or culture. I am highly qualified. However, I believe that you should treat any candidate like you would your client/customer. She said I would receive a call by end of day Wednesday from the company - she was recommending me. She promised to contact me one way or the other by end of day Friday. She failed to follow-up - heard nothing. Hard to believe a company would pay an outside vendor for such poor customer service. I went ahead and accepted another offer.
