Avail Finance Software Developer interview questions

I had a telephonic interview after that those people asked me to come on a certain day for face to face interview. When I went there, They just asked me basic questions and two days later got to know they have hired someone internally. If they don't want to recruit, why call for the interview in the first place? Horrible professional behaviour.
