I applied online. I interviewed at Aurora Energy Research (Oxford, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
I had two interviews, the first online and the second at the office in Oxford. Both interviews began with general questions about the company and my background then consisted predominantly of quant-style brainteasers. The second interview also involved a modelling question.
The process consisted of an initial interview focused on quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking, including probability and logic-based questions. Following a successful first-round interview, I was invited to a second-round interview involving a more comprehensive discussion
