I knew about the opportunity because I used to work for one of thir distributors in the middle east. The opening was mentioned on their website and it happened that Aspen was moving towards opening new offices in the middle east. I received the initial email showing some interest in my profile especially that have hands on exprience on many of their software solutions. I was directly hired and received a job offer the next day. Interview questions were purely technical and directly related to the various solutions. I guess they wanted to confirm that I have had enough hands-on experience to support their technical sales plan for the gulf region.
