The first conversation was a phone screen with Nicole, who oversees people and culture, to chat through my experience and alignment with the role. Next I met with the person who would be my manager for a deeper dive conversation on what is needed for the role. After this, I completed a take home assignment that I then presented to the manager, talking through my process. I had great feedback, but initially I was passed over because I was overqualified for the role, but they reached back out months later expressing interest and after a short reconnect call, they offered me the position. Turnaround from offer to start day was fast - less than 2 weeks.
