The interviewer was late by 20 minutes and finally appeared after I emailed the hiring manager. Felt very unprofessional.
A little was asked about my background but the questions were too detailed on the projects that I worked on before. It felt like I was being interrogated for new ideas instead of being in an interview for a job.
The 2nd interview was light and the interviewer didn't seem too interested. At the end it was mentioned that someone will be contacting me for the next steps.
The next morning I received an email from the hiring manager stating that my skills do not fit the job. Upon looking at my resume and the job description, I fit pretty much 99%.
Morale of the story; if the hiring manager, or manager, or whoever, starts asking you fine details about your past projects during the interview, hang up!
