I interviewed with the Institutional Research and Educational Strategy team for a data-focused role. The process started with a virtual panel interview, which went smoothly and covered a range of experience-related questions. I was then invited for an in-person session that involved analyzing data and presenting findings within about 30 minutes. This exercise was quite challenging under the time limit, and my presentation didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. The team was polite and professional, though the discussion afterward felt somewhat awkward.
Unfortunately, there was no communication for several months after the interview, and I eventually received an automated rejection notice. While the team seemed friendly, the lack of transparency and delayed follow-up reflected poorly on the overall process.
