The interview was exceedingly thorough and got to meet a lot of the company and am really happy both with the end result and having had the opportunity to meet my team in such a way.

Question 1
How do you assess a software defect in order to effectively assess the priority of the task?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Array in Aug 2021
Interview
I had 4 different interviews setup. I enjoyed meeting the different teams and people I would be working with. Everyone seemed really great until the offer process started. They offered a salary that was below what I thought was fair and so I countered to a 10% increase. Instead of speaking with me about salary and compensation, they withdrew the offer. Needless to say I think that was unprofessional.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Array
Interview
the longest of interviews with at least 2 different groups and 10 or so people overall, then back to group 1 for a code assessment when you’ve been talking for 2.5 hours. it would’ve been fine but they made you install Docker, it doesn’t even get the project running! they completely fail to realize that Docker will totally hose your machine if you have other Virtual Machines set up, since it changes your network settings. I was immediately disinterested in hearing back after finding my VMs not booting at all...which I did fix, but thanks for wasting so much of my time. oh and there seems to be a ton of turnover and firefighting, pretty sure they weren’t being honest about how bad that actually is
