There were three rounds of interviews. Questions were based on coding, how better you understand/debug the code, OS, networks, system design
1. Coding round
2. Code, OS based questions, Output of C program
3. Networking, OS, system design, Code debugging
Interview questions [13]
Question 1
Round 1, Coding:
The question was based on IP fragmentation, where data length was divided into multiples of MTU(maximum transmission unit).
Defragment all the received fragments into one packet.
OS based questions: Threads, Multitasking [My code (in step 1) behaviour in multiprocessor environment], Paging, virtual memory, context switching, dispatcher etc.
System design: Design a system which converts long URL into short URL.
Need to handle insert/search, algorithm to have unique short URL for all long URL
Pretty good, not too complicated, was comfortable. Mostly LC questions, and was easy enough that you should be able to do it after doing NC150. good luck for the interview!
Starts with online test, then three rounds of technical interviews follow.
Not a lot of discussion, just go straight to the technical challenges which have to be solved in time
I interviewed at Arista Networks (Warsaw, Masovia)
Interview
By now I have had only first interview, that was focused on pure DSA. Despite that I would already recommend checking out gdb, cause it came in handy in my case.
