A nice interview with two engineers at Aptiv, focusing on my background and interests, as well as motivations for working at the company. Also got an introduction to the position and the company.

Interview
It's a campus placement, where we had 3 rounds.
First is Technical exam,followed by technical interview,next managerial discussion.
First technical interview went for 70min.
And managerial discussion went for around 30 to 40 min.

Question 1
Covered all the things from my resume, projects technologies I know etc..
Android project: asked some basic to intermediate concepts in android development.
Asked me to write programs in java( fibinocci using recursion, one string related que).
Asked about various concepts in java and oops.
Datastructures (I told I know linear datastructures well) Asked few questions on linked list, stacks, lists etc..
Asked about OS concepts deadlocks conditions for deadlocks.
Asked about OSI layer and its functionalities in networks.
Managerial round:
Started with a program to Check is the first and last digit of hexadecimal value is same or not.
Basic questions on memory management in c and java.
Stack overflow nd underflow conditions.
After few small technical ques he just explained on what project they are currently working on and asked me what type of role I prefer to work with.
The meeting ended up on a happy note "we will select you".
