I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Applied Materials (San Jose, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Interview compried of phone interview which latest ~45mins, based on which then onsite interviews 4-5 people of 45mins each, then a final interview. Mostly it was female management chain of interviewers and decision makers with only couple of males with not much influence/decision making powers and chain head loved to take and love their own command. Was very upset and didn't like when "he" was used when referring to any question. Even after goung thru so many interviews and satisfying tough technical, personality, management, team development, team spirit, collaboration etc.. was told I don't fit into organization

Interview
The interview process involved multiple rounds, including conversations with cross-functional stakeholders. While the discussions themselves were generally warm and conversational, there were noticeable inconsistencies in scheduling and coordination. Interviewers occasionally joined late or, in some cases, did not attend as planned. There were also instances where scheduling confirmations were unclear or delayed, which created some confusion during the process.
Following the final interview, communication became limited. Although there was an indication that an update would be provided soon, I did not receive a final outcome. Overall, while the interview conversations were positive on an individual level, the process felt somewhat unstructured and could benefit from more consistent communication and coordination.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Materials (Santa Clara, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
The hiring process began with a phone screen, followed by two in-person interviews. Human Resources was actively involved throughout, coordinating schedules, facilitating communication, and providing updates at each stage to ensure a smooth and transparent candidate experience.
It was with Program manager to whom i was supposed to report and it took one week to finish three rounds. Topics we covered during the rounds are Planning, scheduling, technology, process and Domain etc
