Initial interview is via phone. If you pass the phone interview, then you will be invited to the office for a "Round-Robin" interview. You meet with the head of each department (there are 5) and they determine 1) if you'd be a good fit for the company and if they determine that you are in fact a good fit for AMT, then they will determine 2) which department you'd be the best fit for. Usually this is pretty easy for them to discern based on your background, interests and skill level. Your willingness to travel is a large indicator of which departments you will/won't be considered for. It also gave me a good feeling about who I would want to work for at AMT, and where I could go if I choose to swap departments later in my career there.
