Screening: - Skype interview - Questions on LNA design, degeneration, noise analysis, NF of cascaded blocks, NF analysis of phased array - Power gain vs voltage gain, impedance matching, s-parameters - Basics of PA design, loadpull vs conjugate matching, optimum load, class A,B etc. On-site: -1 on 1 interview with about 6-7 people, around 45 mins each - Wilkinson divider, insights into how 100 ohm isolates in standard design, Inductor model, differential vs single-ended inductors, current crowding - LC tanks and impedance movement wrt frequency on Smith chart - Complete design procedure of LNA - Input output impedances of different amplifiers common source, common gate etc. - EM related questions, EM ports, de-embedding, co-calibration, parasitic coupling between EM ports - SiGe device structure, analysis of BJT based cascode amplifier gain - Analog questions, gain boosting, differential amplifier, little bit about opamp, stability, time domain analysis of RL, RC circuits etc. - 45 min presentation on PhD work Overall, I found Anokiwave to be a great company. Everyone in the team looked happy and positive. Screening interview was more difficult than on-site in my experience. HR was also helpful and responded on time.
