I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch
Interview
Met some current GMTs on campus. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. They definitely made the GMT program feel like the perfect entry-level position. However, the on-site Business Simulation was very negative and unsettling for me. You're placed in a game simulation with talented people, but after each round, the AB interviewers ask you uncomfortable questions in front of everybody like which teammate you would fire and who you would deny a bonus to. If you give a cordial answer, they tell you "you didn't answer my question" while scoffing and writing notes. They seemed like they were trying hard to be a cutthroat and competitive company, but ended up looking very mean. I saw someone crying after the simulation in the bathroom.
Thank you for the review. We apologize that you had a negative experience with our GMT interview.
At Anheuser-Busch, we value directness and transparency in communication. We believe that such straightforwardness can help identify skills gaps and encourage improvement across our teams.
I applied online. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch
Interview
First a personality/culture fit online assessment. Then a virtual HireVue Interview. Then an on-campus case interview. The case interview was about 30 minutes to read through and work on the case and then another 15-20 to talk it through and present to an interviewer who also had some other questions.
I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch (New York, NY) in Nov 2019
Interview
Met with a recruiter at a school career fair. Had a few online tests that were pretty straight forward and some short answer questions. Completed a HireView interview and then had a interview at my university with 2 interviewers. 30 minute case deciding what 2 beers to add. Only like 7 minutes to pitch your ideas, have good justification as they will have strong questions. After this it is a pretty normal interview pitching yourself and just getting to know them as much as they are getting to know you. The last round is a panel in NY or STL.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was very intense and had multiple stages. There are multiple preliminary tests that measure your IQ and culture fit at AB. If you pass these tests, you have a HireVue interview, then you move on to the case study interview. You present to the interviewer and it turns into a behavioral interview. If you pass this, you move on to the business stimulation. It is supposed to be fun but it was a really negative experience for me. You are split into groups and asked to answer uncomfortable questions about your teammates in front of others, while the assessors are walking around and taking notes.
