I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Andrews-Cooper in Jan 2023
Interview
HR screen, then talk with hiring manager, then a take home design assignment. After you complete the assignment, you come in to present and discuss with a few of the managers.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Andrews-Cooper (Corvallis, OR) in Apr 2025
Interview
Good process, not too long, only 2 interviews. Second interview was panel style with relevant questions. No big surprises, and the interviewers made me feel comfortable. They gave time to prepare for one of the sets of questions.

Question 1
They asked about some fixture design, pneumatic speccing, and technical descriptions

Interview
Disrespectful manager. The type that gets on your nerves and then watches how you react. Two team members also joined the second round of interviews. They also joined the disrespectful behavior of the manager. I was asked stupid questions that probably would insult any experienced engineer. I don't think they like senior engineers, particularly those with some foreign accent. I blame myself for not leaving the meeting early. I wanted to give them a chance to behave like adults but instead, I only allowed them to make more fun of me. Lesson learned. Never again.

Question 1
What programming languages do you like the most [sarcastic laughs]? (the question sounded exactly like asking children what's their favorite toy or color)
