I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AmpliFund (Austin, TX) in Aug 2022
Interview
I interviewed with a recruiter, and despite being very well qualified for the position, they stated because I don't have the experience of selling one sole solution, they passed on me as a candidate.

They asked about my past selling experience of selling many types of solutions to Public Sector customers.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AmpliFund (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online and received a request for basic HR screening within a few days. The position was explained, background exchanged and call was positive. Set up to speak with hiring manager within a few days. Call went well, lots of similar experiences and within 3 hours another virtual interview scheduled. This would be with another manager and a peer of the open position. Interview seemed to go well, said they would like to wrap up hiring process within the next week so person could start in 2022.
Two weeks have now passed and although I have sent 2 follow up emails, I have yet to hear of a decision.
If they found a better candidate, I would understand. But not responding to an email or even sending a generic decline letter is exactly why candidates are fustrated with the hiring processes in some companies.
It just makes you wonder if all the "positive spin" put on job descriptions or conversations is just smoke.
