I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amperon in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process was pretty straight forward. The recruiter reached out to me and scheduled a brief call. There was a bit of silence in between the next steps, but that's because they reworked the role to be a bit more senior.
I then had interviews with the hiring manager, another senior leader and the CEO all within one week and received the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were quite straight forward in an effort to ensure it's a good fit:
- describe your communication style with examples
- what are you looking for in your next role
- describe a challenge you went through and how you overcame that
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amperon in Jan 2025
Interview
Short screener with recruiter, followed by remote technical interview with an engineer
Pretty negative experience (see below), in no small part because it took the recruiter two weeks to get feedback back to me for a 1-hour interview. In line with the consistent negative feedback about interviewing at Amperon.
Amperon response

Thanks for interviewing with us. We try to provide as much feedback as possible. We also try to have our technical interviews mirror the work we do here at Amperon. That said, we appreciate the time spent speaking with us.
The recruiter seemed pretty unenthusiastic when speaking to me. I also spent a week straight working on a take home and I never heard back, not even any feedback. Disappointed to work that much on something without any feedback or suggestions.
Thanks for the feedback. With the abundance of applicants we use the take home assignments as way to help filter. Moving forward we will try to provide greater feedback.
