      I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance in Jun 2011

      Interview

      I had put my resume in a college resume book and was later contacted by a recruiter from the company. They called me to set up a phone interview. The phone interview took 25 minutes, I was asked basic questions about what I knew about the company and the position I was applying for. It is a leadership position so I was asked a lot about how I was a leader in past experiences and basic behavioral questions. A week later I was contacted by a manager at a local branch and set up a 1:1 interview. That interview took 45 minutes and it was not too difficult. Again, we talked about the company and the particulars of the position. I was asked a lot of questions on how I would handle certain situations. We talked about my resume and jobs I held in the past. A couple weeks later I received a call asking if I wanted to go to headquarters in Rhode Island where it was a panel interview of 3 people. It again was not difficult. I was then contacted a week later to discuss signing onto the team. Training started a few weeks later in Rhode Island.

      From start to finish, the interview process was long. I initially received a telephone interview. From there, I was asked to complete and submit an essay on my worst quality. After submitting the essay, I scheduled an in-person interview, which lasted several hours. The in-person interview consisted of a formal interview with a manager, sitting with an employee, and testing.

      Long, repetitive, easy. It was pretty standard. I had to go through a virtual interview and then an in person interview. The in person interview took almost 3 hours and I got to shadow an employee

      Filled out an app online. Was sent a digital interview to complete at home consisting of 9 questions. Received a call the following day to set up a face to face interview. I had to complete an online assessment, fill out an essay about 3 qualities I possess that would make me a good fit for the job before my face to face interview. When I arrived for the interview I was directed to complete a computer test for spelling, grammar and typing. Then sat down for face to face interview.
