Misleading ad on craigslist that says the interview is for a “manager” position. It’s really what you “could be” down the road. I also saw two ads for them in Craigslist and I answered both and got two different replies. Different job titles but apparently they were both for the same misleading “manager” position. That was confirmed by them, because I obviously asked about both positions when I got there. The only thing they do different than all the other pyramid schemes is they find the leads for you, so you don’t have to cold call, per se. Still gotta do house visits though to sell the product. I found all this out at the group interview which was the “second round” of interviews. First was a one on one. You would be a 1099, a consultant. Again, NOT stated in the job postings. So essentially, a booming life insurance company that boasts being majority owned by Warren Buffett wants to hire you without having to give you benefits. And from what I calculated, it would take at least 6 months before you could afford private life insurance at this job, there’s no salary or base pay, it’s 100% commission and bonuses based on, you guessed it, how many people you have under you.
