I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Chandler, AZ) in May 2011
Interview
It took them awhile to finally get me hired. But now that I've been working for the company for a year and a half it makes sense as to why. You have to frequently check your application status. I got lucky that the store manger loved me from the moment I walked into the store. You will have to take a test which will later determine where you will be placed. They do this by color. So for example my color is red (which means I'm a good seller) so my place is on the floor and in the fitting roooms.
The interview can be the hard part. Most of the time interviews are group interviews. So you have to make yourself stand out from the crowd. Usually, one or two people from the same group will be hired at a time. The questions are pretty much the same as any interview, theres a few personal questions so they can get to know you. So don't be scared if they start asking you where you went to school or how many siblings you have.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will ask you to make an outfit. To see how well your outfitting skills are! I wasn't expecting that. But Its really easy to make one.

Application
I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Columbia, MD)
Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
