I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Dulles, VA) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process was very intense. I interviewed with about 5 people, one being a Bar Raiser. But you don;t know who the bar raiser is. They are solely there to assess whether you are better than at least 50% of their current employees in the role for which you are applying. The interview lasted hours. They want detailed quantifiable and qualifiable information. Best method to use in answering every question was the STAR method.

Question 1
A specific challenge I faced, what I did to address the issue, and what was the outcome. Question isn't that hard at face value but the level of detail they seek is enormous. You must be very prepared for their interviews. Engineers are expected to live code or do a coding exercise.
