I had a screening call with HR before a remote interview via Teams. It was a fairly standard interview going through competency questions and discussing my experience. They also asked about my hobbies. Despite the call, interview prep and interview itself taking up a fair amount of my time, they neglected to update me afterward about my application. I can understand why they wouldn't respond to each and every application but to leave someone waiting for feedback when they have taken the time to interview with you is rude. If you're struggling to get time off/find time to attend interviews around your current role I'd give this company a miss on this basis and save your efforts for somewhere more professional.
